Rockland Immunochemicals produces enzyme labeled antigens and antibodies which are conjugated by methodologies that preserve the maximum biological activity of the conjugated proteins. Every lot is tested by ELISA to ensure lot-to-lot consistency in enzyme-to-antibody ratio and binding activity. Enzyme labeled secondary antibodies provide extremely high sensitivities and are recommended for ELISA, immunohistochemical tissue and cell staining, and immuno-blotting techniques. Rockland obtains only the highest quality enzymes for conjugation to Affinity Purified antibodies, avidin and streptavidin.
Peroxidase activity 3,700 - 4,000 units per mg protein
Alkaline Phosphatase activity 2,300 - 29,00 units per mg protein
Peroxidase conjugated antibodies, avidin and streptavidin are 0.22 um filtered and are lyophilized in 10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (Polyethylene glycol for anti-Bovine antibodies), 0.02M phosphate buffer, 0.15M sodium chloride, 0.01% (w/v) gentamicin sulfate, pH 7.2. Always reconstitute the product with distilled water as stated on the product data sheet provided with each order.
Alkaline phosphatase conjugated antibodies, avidin and streptavidin are 0.22 um filtered and are stored as liquids in 10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (Polyethylene glycol for anti-Bovine antibodies), 0.05M tris hydrochloride, 0.15M sodium chloride, 1mM magnesium chloride, 0.1 mM zinc chloride, 50% (v/v) glycerol, and 0.01% (w/v) sodium azide, pH 8.0.
