Anti-Peroxidase (Goat) Antibody Description

Background
Horse Radish Peroxidase (HRP) is an enzyme that utilize organic peroxide compounds as electron donors. Naturally provides protection for plants against pathogens, but can be utilized in molecular biology to convert various substrates to detectable compounds (such as in Western Blotting and ELISAs). Anti-Peroxidase (Horseradish) (Goat) Antibody is ideal for investigators in Microbiology, Immunology, and Cell Biology research.
Immunogen
Peroxidase [Horseradish]
Immunogen Type
Native Protein
Storage Condition
Store anti-HRP at 4° C prior to restoration.   For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below.  Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.  Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.  This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid.  Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Application Note
Anti-Peroxidase (Horesradish) (Goat) Antibody has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Peroxidase [Horseradish] in a standard ELISA using Alkaline Phosphatase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Goat IgG [H&L] (Rabbit) code #605-4502 and pNPP as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature.  A working dilution of 1:9,000 to 1:40,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product.
Purity/Specifity
Anti-Peroxidase (Horseradish) (goat) antibody was prepared from monospecific antiserum by a delipidation and defibrination. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against purified and partially purified Peroxidase [Horseradish].  Cross reactivity against Peroxidase from other tissues and species may occur but have not been specifically determined.
