MaxTag™ DAB tablets (50 tablet pack) Description

Background
MaxTag DAB tablets (50 tablet pack) are a benzidine derivative that is oxidized by hydrogen peroxide in the presence of hemoglobin, yielding a dark-brown color of solution. This oxidation can be utilized for tissue samples by first preparing them with hydrogen peroxide. MaxTag DAB tablets are ideal for researchers in Immunology and Microbiology research.
Storage Condition
See kit insert for complete instructions. Use care.  Ship as a hazardous material.  DAB is a suspected carcinogen.  Avoid exposure to eyes, skin and mucous membranes.  Do not inhale or ingest.  Wash hands thoroughly after using.
Application Note
MaxTag DAB tablets (50 tablet pack) is designed to be used with the MaxTag™ Immunoblotting kit. Dissolve one tablet in 10 ml of deionized water. (pH will be 4.8 - 5.2) Use liquid substrate within one hour. Immediately before use add hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to 0.1% (v/v).
