HPLC Purification Description

Liquid chromatography (LC, also known as HPLC or FPLC) is a powerful analytical technique used for separation of molecules suspended in a liquid phase that allows them to differentially interact with a stationary phase. LC has a broad application in life sciences and can be used for characterization, quantification and purification of proteins, small molecules or nucleic acids. Single or multiple purification methods may be employed together to increase the degree of purification.

Rockland offers our clients liquid chromatography capabilities for purification of proteins and antibodies using a variety of methods, including Affinity Chromatography (AC), Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) and Ion Exchange Chromatography (IEX) and other resin formats. This service is DEAE ion-exchange chromatography on a 100 ml sample of antisera or related sample. Charge applies per sample applied to column.
