Background

Adenylate cyclase is the enzyme which produces the “second messenger” signaling molecule, cAMP from ATP. Type III adenylate cyclase is localized to the membranes surrounding neuronal cilia. Much is currently unknown about the function of primary cilia in vertebrates, however, recent work has begun to explore their role in neuronal signaling and neurogenesis. Adenylate Cyclase III Antibody is ideal for researchers interested in cell signaling and neuroscience research.

Conjugated Peptide
Anti-Adenylate Cyclase III Antibody was produced in rabbit by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues from the C-terminal region of rat adenylate cyclase III conjugated to KLH.
Anti-Adenylate Cyclase III antibody is directed to rat adenylate cyclase III protein. Anti-Adenylate Cyclase III was purified by affinity purification.

Application Details

IHC, WB
Anti-Adenylate Cyclase III antibody is tested for Western Blot, immunohistochemistry, and immnunocytochemistry. Expect a band at approximately ~160/200kDa on specific lysates or tissues. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.
