Research published in Mol. Cell. Biol (Ashburner et al., 2001) using Rockland NF-kB p65 specific antibodies, demonstrates that the transactivation function of NF-kB is regulated through interaction with histone deacetylase (HDAC) corepressor proteins. The transactivation function of NF-kB is regulated through association of the p65 (RelA) subunit with HDAC corepressor proteins.
